Federals Sure to Get Warm Reception
Fans who journey to the Bethlehem Steel athletic field tomorrow afternoon can expect most anything but a love feast when the Bethlehem F. C. meet Federal Ship of Newark, N. J., in the Fourth Round of the American Cup competition. The Federals slipped one over on the Steel Workers when their alibi for failure to appear here earned them a replay and the local squad will make a strong effort to slip it back by eliminating them in the cup competition. The management will be on hand and with this to bank on the battle will surely be state. "Watch our forward line go," chirped "Billie" Sheridan in predicting the outcome of the game. Bethlehem will present an almost entirely reconstructed forward line that Sheridan predicts will be even greater than the line before several of the star players deserted the club. Among the newcomers will be Sturch, the Canadian player, who by his performances in practice during the week looks like the biggest "find" of the season.
